SHIP Resale Shop

Located at 2905 Cavitt in Bryan, Texas, the SHIP Resale Shop is open for business. This resale shop (carrying everything from clothes to furniture) helps us raise funds for projects at home and abroad, and all profits from the resale shop go directly to our work.

If you have any items that are still in good condition but you don’t need any longer, the SHIP Resale Shop is the perfect place to take them. It’s also the right place to go if you’re looking for a great deal, so come on over to the SHIP Shop! Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Texas Limestone and Granite Crosses and Texas Gifts

The individually handcrafted Texas limestone and granite crosses and gifts pictured on this page are made in Edge, Texas, by Texas craftsman, John Lawrence. As a way to support the orphanage in El Salvador, in addition to supporting his family, John donates 30% of the proceeds from the sale of these items to SHIP.

Entering his fourth year of working with the stone, John credits the Lord for providing him with the wisdom and understanding of what to make and how to make it. He has also provided the tools and materials needed. Over the years, two companies in the Bryan/College Station, Texas, area have supplied much of the materials John uses: Marble Craft and Carter Custom Counter Top. Many of the items were created from customers’ ideas and suggestions.

Below is a listing of businesses that stock these handcrafted crosses and Texas gifts. The majority of the businesses are in Texas; however, several locations outside of Texas are included at the end of the list. Be sure to patronize these businesses and support SHIP at the same time by making a purchase – these items make great gifts, by the way! Occasionally, SHIP will host a sale in the Bryan/College Station area with these items to raise money for the orphanage.
