Your tax-deductible contribution of just $35 a month helps provide a child with proper nutrition, education, clothing, activities, spiritual development, and the opportunity for a brighter future. As children are sponsored, we will let them know – it will be a special blessing to the child to know that someone cares. Sponsoring a child will change the future for your child, and it could change your own life as well.
* Children have more than one sponsor, as the monthly cost for each child is more than $35. Care is in no way based on the number of sponsors. For privacy reasons, the information provided about the children on this website is limited.
Corresponding with Your Sponsored Child: Mail service and other forms of delivery in El Salvador are not reliable; however, we will be glad to forward email messages to your sponsored child when you send them to SHIP at: ESchildren@shipinternational.org. Your sponsored child will enjoy getting to know something about you and your family, and you may even want to include a photo for them. You can send your child notes of encouragement and birthday wishes, too. If they send us a response, we will gladly forward their response to you at the email address we have on file for you.
Occasional Gifts for Your Sponsored Child: Some sponsors like to send small gifts to their child from time to time. It is not a requirement, of course, but if you are interested in sending a small gift that we can take with us when we travel to El Salvador, please contact SHIP at contact@shipinternational.org to make arrangements. Before you purchase or make something to send with us, we will need to provide you with details about the size package we can take.
