We have so much to be thankful for today, most of it having to do with the sweet kids in the picture above (and all of their schoolmates). So, here is what we’re praying and praising about this week:
- Praise God that our school is officially registered with the El Salvadoran government. This has been a many-step process, one of those “one step forward, two steps back” situations. It’s been frustrating, and it’s been a learning experience. But we’re so glad we are registered now. It means that our students’ hard work will be recognized as they progress in their studies.
- Praise God that this school year has been so successful. Our kids have learned a lot; they’ve covered so much ground after having almost a full year of learning at home. And, their school experience is just getting better all the time. They have a beautiful reading area (above); they’re getting exercise and vitamins at school; their teachers are amazing and are learning from each other to give our kids the best education they can.
- Pray for our students and teachers as their school year comes to a close. They have two more months of school. That’s exciting, but it’s also a lot of pressure. We’ve got a lot of learning to cram in before the year ends.
